by AND function is one of the logical functions used in MS Excel. The AND function in MS Excel is used to apply more than one logical condition at the same time.
It returns True to us only when all the conditions given in the AND function are satisfied, and if any condition is not satisfied then it returns False.
For example, suppose we have given two conditions in the AND function, if both these conditions are satisfied then it will return True in the result. But if either of the two conditions is not satisfied then it will return False.
Syntax: –
=AND(logical1,[logical2],[logical3]….)
Arguments: –
logic 1: – In this we give the first condition by which we have to test the value.
logic 2: – In this we give the second condition by which we have to test the value.
AND function In Excel examples
For example, we have taken the exam of some students here, in which there are 5 subjects and to pass, all the students should have at least 35 marks or more in all the subjects.
