Verify Your Property – Google Search Console

Google provides several methods to verify ownership of your site:

HTML File Upload:
- Download the HTML verification file provided by Google.
- Upload this file to the root directory of your website.
- Click Verify in Google Search Console.
HTML Tag:
- Add a meta tag provided by Google to the <head> section of your homepage.
- Click Verify in Google Search Console.
DNS Record:
- Add a TXT record provided by Google to your domain’s DNS configuration.
- Click Verify in Google Search Console.
Google Analytics:
- If you have Google Analytics set up on your site, you can use it for verification.
- Ensure you have edit permissions for the Google Analytics property.
- Click Verify in Google Search Console.
Google Tag Manager:
- Use your Google Tag Manager account for verification.
- Ensure you have Container snippet code installed on your site.
- Click Verify in Google Search Console.
